pointing out to someone that they are privileged is often relevant in conversations, especially when someone is trying to explain your oppression to you or is trying to tell you that you’re now equal.

and certainly, pointing out someone’s privilege does NOT suggests that they are prejudiced in any way, and i think people SHOULD feel guilty for experiencing a privilege that they have not earned if they do not intend to use it in a conducive way, e.g. challenging racism, sexism, etc.

and as for the last, platitudinous bollocks paragraph, it is SO relevant. someone with societal power trying to oppress you is worse literally because they can.

try thinking next time you think you’re going to come out with some “we’re all equal” bollocks and jaybe unpack your own privilege in the process.
